Instructor Bio:
"I am a retired elementary school teacher/educator from Oconee County Schools (30 years) with a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. As an active volunteer that assists and helps in the OCAF School Street Pottery Studio, I have helped many over the years with pottery basics in our studio. Years ago I took my first class on the wheel and my love of pottery has only grown since. I love sharing my knowledge with others and especially love the experience of creating functional pottery for the home. Showing others how to create functional pieces on the wheel or by hand is a joy to me.
As a pottery studio assistant for OCAF, I volunteer to open/close the studio, assist members with hand-building/wheel-throwing technique, glazing application design along with loading, and unloading bisque and glaze kiln firings."
