The Municipality of North Grenville Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Fund, initiated by the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee, supports individuals and organizations committed to advancing equity, diversity, and inclusion in North Grenville.
- An annual $15,000 has been allocated to the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Fund.
- Eligible projects must take place in North Grenville and align with the EDI Fund’s objectives.
Successful applicants who receive funding from the Municipality must report on how funding was spent and what impact the funding achieved. This report must be submitted to the Municipality of North Grenville within 12 months of the award of funds.
Where a project takes place 12 months after the award of funds*, the final report shall be submitted one month after the project is completed.
Failure to fully complete and submit the report may require repayment of all or part of the grant and impact future eligibility for grant funding.

*Council may choose to award all, none, or a portion of the amount requested. Recipients will be notified of their application status after all applications have been reviewed.
The Municipality of North Grenville will not provide funding to any individual or group that supports or promotes views, ideas, or presentations that actively promote, or are likely to promote, discrimination, contempt, or hatred toward any person based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, age, sex, marital status, family status, sexual orientation, or disability. Additionally, the Municipality will not fund content or activities that include gratuitous sex or violence, or that denigrate the human condition.
The Municipality reserves the right to cancel a funding agreement if any of the above-noted circumstances arise.
