    Please refer to the information at the end of this application to be sure you have completed all parts of the application process, and for deadline information. Some businesses, especially larger businesses, have their own processes for application to programs such as these. Be sure to check with your supervisor before completing this application.

    The selection process for Leadership Midland is a competitive process, so we encourage you to complete every section of this application as fully as possible.

    Class size is limited. Each class is a diverse mix of representatives from the community, and individual applicants are selected based on:

    • Attend one of the orientation meetings, either June 18th or June 23rd (7:30--9:00 am)
    • Complete four site visits, plus one trip on Dial-A-Ride
    • Attend the mandatory orientation meeting on September 23, 2026 from 5:45-8 pm
    • Attend the three-day (October 8--10) program in its entirety

  • Scholarships: A limited number of partial scholarships are available for employees of micro business (five or fewer employees), employees of nonprofits, and individuals. To apply for a scholarship, please submit a letter of request, explaining the need for a scholarship and explaining your other potential funding sources. Your scholarship request must be submitted at the same time as your application packet, and can be sent to dmiddleton@mbami.org

  • Your Application Packet must include:

    • This complete, electronic application.
    • Two letters of recommendation describing why the applicant should be considered to attend Leadership Midland (only one from a current supervisor or co-worker, please. Email letters to dmiddleton@MBAmi.org. Letters may be emailed directly from the author.
    • Your scholarship request, if you plan to submit one. That may also be emailed to dmiddleton@mbami.org.
  • Deadline for applications, including letters of recommendation, is Wednesday, May 13.

  • Notification of acceptance will be sent the week of June 8th. If accepted, payment of tuition will be due by Friday, July 10, 2026.
