The Charleston-Berkeley-Dorchester Mental Health Committee invites you to the Berkeley County Mental Health Forum that brings together residents, service providers, mental health advocates, and local leaders for an open and meaningful conversation about mental health in Charleston County.
This three part series of forums across the tri-county region will feature panelists representing clinical providers, non-profits, faith organization, government, hospital, lived expereince, emergency services, lawenforcement and others. Panelists will share perspectives on current challenges, gaps in care, crisis response, prevention efforts, co-occurring concerns, and opportunities to strengthen the local mental health system and continuity of care.
The program will include a brief overview of the Clubhouse Model—an evidence-based, scalable approach to mental health support that is part of the solution for strengthening our community. Audience questions will be welcomed during a moderated Q&A at the conclusion of the forum. Additional opportunities for continued engagement, deeper discussion, and education on the Clubhouse Model will also be provided.
