We need your help at the 30th Annual Skagit Valley Highland Games!

We have a lot of great opportunities at the Games this year and we need your help to make it a success. Volunteering is a fun way to interact with the community during the festivities and it comes along with Two Weekend Passes to the event (one for yourself and one for your guest). We ask that volunteers sign up for at least one 4 hour shift throughout the weekend, but of course you can always sign up for more! If you'd like to be involved please fill out the form below.

I understand that all volunteer applicants for the Celtic Arts Foundation are subject to background checks with the Washington State Patrol. Please attach a photocopy of your driver’s license (or other photo ID from a government agency) for your background check. Information provided to the Celtic Arts Foundation from the State Patrol will remain confidential. The Celtic Arts Foundation reserves the right to terminate any volunteer for any reason. RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

I hereby represent that I wish to volunteer with the Celtic Arts Foundation. I recognize that any activity may involve certain dangers, including but not limited to the hazards of the forces of nature, and the actions of other participants and other persons unaffiliated with CAF. I understand that these hazards produce a risk of physical harm or death, as well as a risk of loss or damage to my personal property. I further understand and agree that CAF would not be able to sponsor such Events without some form of agreement providing protection for CAF and its officers, directors, paid staff and volunteer workers.

I hereby release CAF and its officers, directors and volunteer workers from any and all liability, claims and/or causes of action arising out of, or in any way connected with my participation in any and all of the activities of the Celtic Arts Foundation projects.

I personally assume all risks in connection with these activities, and further agree to hold CAF and its officers, directors, paid staff and volunteer workers harmless from and against any and all liability, claims and/or causes of action which I may have arising from my participation in any and all of the activities of the Event, including but not limited to those involving negligence on the part of such officers, directors, paid staff or volunteer workers, which result in personal injury or death to myself and/or loss or damage to my personal property. The terms of this agreement shall bind myself and my heirs, assigns, and personal representatives.

I understand that all volunteer applicants for the Celtic Arts Foundation are subject to background checks with the Washington State Patrol. I understand that there are many photographers and videographers at the Games throughout the weekend. By attending, I consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded. Attendance constitutes my consent to photography, filming and/or recording of your appearance, voice and name. I am providing consent to use these images or recordings, in any and all media (including social media, advertising, CAF website and other promotional materials) in perpetuity, for any purpose whatsoever in connection with the Celtic Arts Foundation.

I have fully informed myself of the contents of this release and hold harmless agreement by reading it before I have signed it.
