PAAWS No Kill Animal Rescue, is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit animal rescue that was established in 2002 based in Newburgh, IN. PAAWS provides foster based animal rescue services throughout the tri-state area in Indiana, Illinois, and Kentucky. PAAWS also promotes events and fundraising activities to raise money to fund and support their animal rescue services. As we are foster based, we do not have any over-head or paid employees so 100% of funds raised go to the care of animals that we take in. In 2024 PAAWS took in over 600 animals, many of whom were facing euthanasia due to overcrowding at the local animal control shelters. These funds raised will help us to continue taking in more animals in need of medical care and vetting such as vaccines, spay and neuter, heartworm prevention and flea and tick prevention.
