    Fall 2026 Course Proposal Form

  • The fall semester runs from Sept. 22 to Dec. 4, 2026. No classes will be held on Yom Kippur (Sept. 21), Election Day (Nov. 3) or during the Thanksgiving break from Nov. 23 to Nov. 27.

Course proposals are due no later than 5 p.m. Monday, April 20.

Thank you for your interest in teaching for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Temple University. Please complete the course proposal form in its entirety. Our staff and members are grateful for your willingness to volunteer your time and share your knowledge.

Please note that OLLI at Temple does not provide financial compensation for instructors. However, instructors receive a complimentary membership for each term they teach.

If you are new to OLLI, a staff member and a member of the Curriculum Committee will contact you to schedule a meeting to review your proposal. Once your proposal is accepted for the fall semester, you will be notified by email.

All submissions are subject to revision for clarity and consistency with catalog style. OLLI catalog editors may modify course descriptions for length, consistency and style. If significant content changes are made, the edited version will be returned to the instructor for review. If a course description is shortened for the catalog and additional information is needed, instructors may provide expanded details on the instructor handout page, with a note included in the catalog entry.

OLLI at Temple offers classes in four formats: in-person, virtual, hyflex and hybrid. Hybrid courses include both in-person and virtual components.
