For the next phase of Live from Occupied, we are taking pitches to fund original series on occupation in its many forms: housing displacement, over-policing, land rights, incarceration, surveillance, gentrification, immigration enforcement. All funded series are produced for Instagram. Format is your call — Reels, carousels, or a mix. You own your content — the only expectation is that you collaborate with our account, but we don’t direct the content.

Part count is determined by the story, not the payout. If you’re pitching multiple parts, your pitch needs to show why the story requires that structure and what each part covers that the others can’t. A story that can be told in one video should be one video. We’ll ask you to revise a pitch down before we reject it on scope, but padding for compensation is grounds for declining.
