Scholarship Application Requirements

2026 Scholarship Categories

• Must be a Graduating High School Senior, Current College Student (including Community College), or Current Graduate Student

• Must have a minimum 2.5 GPA unless otherwise noted.  You can select up to (4) four to apply for provided you meet the criteria for each one

• Must submit two (2) letters of Recommendation (e.g. counselor, teacher, professor, mentor, community leader, pastor, boss)

• Must submit an Unofficial Transcript

• Must provide volunteer hours for two community service activities (e.g. Letter from organization or other documentation that indicates hours volunteered)

• Must submit a minimum 500-word essay based on the following question:

Reflect on a time when you demonstrated leadership in your school or community. What motivated you to take action, and how did you navigate the challenges you faced? In what ways did this experience deepen your understanding of leadership, community service, and your potential to make a lasting impact in the world?

Scholarship Winner Requirements

• If chosen as a scholarship winner, you must attend the virtual PPECF Scholarship Celebration on Sunday, June 28, 2026.

via Zoom in order to receive your scholarship funds.

• If chosen as a scholarship winner, you must be able to provide proof of enrollment for the Fall 2026 Semester (e.g. Schedule or Billing Statement)

• If chosen as a scholarship winner, you must cash your scholarship check by December 31, 2026 or else your award will be forefeited.

The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted by the stated deadline to be considered for review. Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all required components are accurate, complete, and uploaded successfully at the time of submission.

Incomplete applications, missing documents, or submissions received after the deadline will not be considered. It is strongly recommended that applicants review all materials carefully prior to submission to ensure compliance with the outlined requirements.

All information provided must be truthful and reflect the applicant’s own work and experiences. By submitting this application, the applicant affirms that all materials are authentic and submitted in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Phenomenal Pearls Educational & Charitable Foundation.

The next step is your letters of recommendation.

You will need to submit two (2) letters of recommendation from the following options: counselor, teacher, professor, mentor, community leader, pastor, boss.

If you're sure everything is filled out correctly, please review the PPECF agreement below.

• If chosen as a scholarship winner, I will submit a picture to be used by PPECF for award celebrations and marketing materials.
• If chosen as a scholarship winner, I will attend the virtual PPECF Scholarship Celebration on June 28, 2026 in order to receive the scholarship funds.
• If chosen as a scholarship recipient, it is my responsibility to remit to PPECF the appropriate information (Fall 2026 Class Schedule/Billing Statement) for my scholarship to be paid.
• It is the responsibility of the scholarship recipient to ensure the timely receipt and cashing of the scholarship check. Failure to cash the scholarship check by December 31, 2026 shall result in the forefeiture of the scholarship award.

Your application will be reviewed and you will be notified of the outcome on June 15, 2026.
