    Effective performance management is critical to organizational success. In this session, Dr. Terry will explore key concepts and current perspectives in performance management, including how organizations can align individual performance with strategic goals, develop talent, and create systems that support high-performing employees.

    This presentation is designed for professionals, managers, and leaders interested in strengthening performance management practices within their organizations.

    About the Presenter

    Dr. Ryan Terry is an Assistant Professor of Human Resource Management at the Barton School of Business. He received his BBA and MBA from Fort Hays State University and earned his Ph.D. from The University of Texas at Arlington.

    Prior to his current role, Dr. Terry served as an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Before beginning his doctoral studies, he spent four years teaching in China through Fort Hays State University’s International Partnerships program.

    Dr. Terry teaches courses in compensation and talent development, and his research interests include performance management, strategic human resource management, talent management, and star employees.
