Welcome to STEAM School House's 3rd Summer Children's Business Fair, in partnership with the Rainy River Recreation Center this year! Moving all across the province since the opening of STEAM School House Microschool in Tottenham in 2022, we've facilitated Children's Business Fairs, Specialty Educational Workshops & Summer & Holiday Camps. This year's event will be held for kids ages 7-16 across the Rainy River District. Young entrepreneurs from Fort Frances, Emo, Morson, Rainy River and surrounding towns are encouraged to apply to take part in this virtual two-class business workshop & in-person 1 day vendor event held at the Rainy River Rec Center this summer. STEAM School House is an alternative & extracurricular educational community of certified teachers that facilitate learning opportunities to youth through STEAM based projects, workshops, field trips/ excursions and camps. The structure of this specific workshop and event provides an opportunity for young entrepreneurs to participate and learn about business through the two-part online workshop, have guidance and support while building a brand/product, while developing confidence & interpersonal social skills along the way. This year's event, in partnership with the Rainy River Recreation center will boost up and encourage young minds; whether you're looking for an alternative and supplemental educational opportunity for homeschool kids or just looking to try something new, fun and to make some money, the Children's Business Fair is for everyone! This application is required for each individual applying for the workshop & event, even if a business is being operated by two entrepreneurs. This workshop and event has limited spots due to capacity, however, spots are subject to change based on registration numbers. We're excited to welcome you to the STEAM School House team! Once the application is submitted, you will be contacted to follow up. No registration fee is required until your business is accepted and registration is complete.
