Celebrating the Achievements of Young People
We are inviting young people aged up to 25 (you can be 25 at the point of nomination), as well as individuals, groups of young people, and organisations that support young people or provide youth services, to submit entries to the YouthTV Aspire Awards.
Whether you are nominating yourself, a peer, a youth group, or an organisation, we welcome entries that highlight real achievements, positive impact, creativity, leadership, and contributions to the community.

1. Introduction
The YouthTV Aspire Awards (“the Awards”) are organised and administered by YouthTV Group CIC (“the Organisation”). By submitting a nomination or entry, all entrants, nominators, nominees, and participating organisations agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
2. Eligibility
2.1: The Awards are open to young people who meet the age, residency, or category‑specific requirements stated within each award category.
2.2: Nominees must live in Bedfordshire, work in Bedfordshire, study in Bedfordshire, or be able to clearly demonstrate a strong and meaningful connection to the county within their nomination.
2.3: Nominations may be submitted by young people themselves, schools, youth groups, organisations, or responsible adults.
2.4: The Organisation reserves the right to verify eligibility and request supporting information where required.

Nominations are open to individuals or organisations who live, work, study, or can demonstrate a strong and meaningful connection to Bedfordshire. Eligible areas include all towns, villages, and communities within the Bedfordshire postcode areas LU1–LU7, MK17, MK40–MK45, SG15–SG19, and applicable border villages.

3. Submission Requirements
3.1: All entries must be submitted through the official submission platform: JotForm or other method specified by YouthTV Group CIC.
3.2: Incomplete, illegible, or late submissions may be rejected without notice.
3.3: By submitting an entry, nominators confirm that all information provided is accurate, truthful, and submitted with the nominee’s knowledge and consent.
4. Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
4.1: Submissions must be genuine, original, and reflective of real‑world experiences, achievements, and personal stories.
4.2: The use of AI tools (e.g., for writing nomination text) is not prohibited, but entrants are strongly cautioned against relying on AI‑generated or fabricated information.
4.3: Any submission found to contain false, misleading, or artificially generated achievements may be subject to review and may result in disqualification.
5. Rights and Permissions
5.1: By submitting an entry, you grant YouthTV Group CIC the right to:
- Contact nominees directly;
- Share nomination details with the judging panel;
- Publish nominee names, categories, photographs, and non-sensitive nomination excerpts for promotional, reporting, and celebratory purposes;
- Use submitted content in promotional activities related to the Awards, including digital, print, social media, and broadcast materials.
5.2: You confirm that you have obtained permission from the nominee (and where applicable, their parent/guardian) for this information to be used in this way.
6. Judging Process
6.1: All valid entries will be reviewed by the Organisation and assessed by an appointed judging panel.
6.2: Judges will evaluate submissions based on criteria relevant to each award category.
6.3: All decisions made by the judges and the Organisation are final. No correspondence, negotiation, or feedback regarding judging decisions will be entered into.
7. Disqualification
7.1: YouthTV Group CIC reserves the right to disqualify any nomination or nominee at its sole discretion. Grounds for disqualification may include, but are not limited to:
- Breach of these Terms & Conditions;
- Misrepresentation or false information;
- Offensive, harmful, or inappropriate content;
- Behaviour inconsistent with the values of YouthTV Group CIC or the Awards.
7.2: The Organisation is not required to provide notice or justification for disqualification decisions.
8. Data Protection & Privacy
8.1: YouthTV Group CIC processes personal data in accordance with UK data protection law and the organisation’s GDPR/Data Protection Policy which can be found on the YouthTV website.
8.2: Submitted data will be used for the administration, judging, promotion, and delivery of the Awards.
8.3: Personal data will not be shared with unauthorised third parties.

9. Award Ceremony & Outcomes
9.1: Finalists and winners may be invited to attend an awards ceremony or related event.
9.2: The Organisation reserves the right to modify event formats, including making events virtual, hybrid, postponed, or cancelled where necessary.
9.3: Winning an award does not entitle the recipient to monetary payments unless explicitly stated within a category description.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1: Entrants confirm they have the rights or permissions to submit all included text, images, videos, or media.
10.2: YouthTV Group CIC may reproduce submitted materials for Awards-related promotional use.
11. Liability
11.1: YouthTV Group CIC accepts no responsibility for:
- Technical issues preventing submission;
- Lost, incomplete, or corrupted entries;
- Any personal or organisational costs incurred through participation.
11.2: To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouthTV Group CIC is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from participation in the Awards.
12. Amendments
12.1: The Organisation reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2: Significant changes will be published on the Awards website or submission portal.
