  • SHOW HOST COMMITMENT WAIVER

I, the undersigned, understand that if my organization cancels the Michigan Color Guard Circuit, Inc. (MCGC) sanctioned contest that we have been awarded for any reason, including but not limited to, lack of participation, change in building availability, lack of district or parent support staff, that we will be responsible for any and all costs incurred by M.C.G.C. including, but not limited to, judge and circuit staff expenses.

I understand that in the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen events, M.C.G.C. will work closely with the Contest Host Coordinator and District Staff to reach a decision that will allow for full safety of the performers, instructors and their staff, spectators, and others that may be affected.

I understand that we are responsible for any communication in a timely manner and directly to the MCGC Contest Coordinator, Sharon MacDermaid, regarding changes made to our facility, including but not limited to, any building and logistical changes that will affect performers, instructors and their staff, spectators and any others that were made after the date our Contest Application was received by MCGC

I understand that it is our responsibility to pick up and transport the circuit trailer to our contest and work to arrange transfer of the trailer to the next host.  If this cannot be accomplished, we will pay the circuit a fee of $250 to handle this for us.  The need for assistance will be communicated to the Contest Coordinator at least two weeks prior to our contest date.
