    Service Contract

Service agreement for Bud's Marine Service & Restoration, LLC. Please complete all required fields and review the acknowledgments before signing.
  • Agreement Terms

Please review the terms below before continuing.
  • Description of Services Bud’s Marine Service and Restoration, LLC may perform service, repair, storage, restoration, or related work as described by the customer or as reasonably required to complete the requested project.

  • Estimates and Additional Work Any estimate is based on the conditions known at the time it is prepared. Hidden damage, additional labor, parts, materials, or unforeseen issues may change the final cost. Unless Bud’s Marine specifically states otherwise in writing, an estimate is not a fixed-price quote.

  • Payment Terms A deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is due before the vessel is released. Long-term or complex projects may also require progress payments during the course of the work.

  • Parts, Materials, and Delays Parts and materials may be ordered as needed and may be subject to supplier availability, pricing changes, shipping delays, or backorders. Bud’s Marine is not responsible for delays outside of its reasonable control.

  • Storage Terms If the vessel remains on site after service is complete, storage charges may apply. Storage rates, pickup deadlines, and related charges will be assessed according to the agreement and applicable shop policies.

  • Storage Policy A 5-day grace period will apply after notice of completion. After the grace period ends, storage fees will begin unless otherwise agreed upon. The storage fee is $10 per day for the first 7 calendar days after the grace period, and $100 per week thereafter, with any partial week prorated on a daily basis.

  • Why These Policies Matter Storage fees and pickup deadlines help keep space available on the lot for other projects and ensure boats are removed in a timely manner. We cannot provide indefinite free storage, so these terms help us manage space and keep work moving efficiently.

  • Completion and Pickup Payment is expected promptly when the work is completed and the vessel is ready for release. Boats or related property left after completion may incur the listed storage fee after the stated grace period. To keep the project moving and avoid any delay in pickup, the customer should arrange payment and retrieval as soon as completion is confirmed. Storage terms and policy will apply as stated above.

  • Payment Delay and Holding Charges Invoices not paid within 10 days of the invoice date may incur a $25 late fee, plus any applicable storage charges. If payment is not made when the work is completed, Bud’s Marine may hold the vessel until the balance is paid. In that event, storage fees will apply and a late charge may be added.

  • Customer Property and Personal Items The customer should remove personal belongings and unsecured items before service begins. Bud’s Marine is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in the vessel, except as required by law.

  • Mechanic’s Lien and Abandoned Property To the fullest extent permitted by Pennsylvania law, Bud’s Marine may retain a mechanic’s lien or other lawful possessory rights for unpaid amounts. Property left unclaimed after notice and expiration of applicable pickup deadlines may be treated as abandoned as allowed by law.

  • Authorization and Acceptance By continuing, the customer authorizes Bud’s Marine to perform the requested services and acknowledges that they have read and agree to the terms of this agreement.
