We are excited about your interest in attending the 2026 Native Student-Athlete Summit (NSAS), hosted by the Indigenous Athletics Advancement Council!
Before proceeding with the registration form, please review the following important information:
Availability & Participation for Student-Athletes:
By completing this registration form, you are confirming your availability to attend the full summit, arriving in Lawrence, Kansas by 3:00 PM on June 2, 2026, and remaining through 2:00 PM on June 4, 2026.
Please note: There will be an optional opportunity to participate as a coach/mentor in an Indigenous Youth Sports Camp for local youth at the University of Kansas on June 4. The camp will conclude at approximately 3:30 PM, followed by departure for return travel.
Travel Expectations for Student-Athletes:
Participants are responsible for arranging and covering the upfront cost of their travel to and from Lawrence, Kansas (flight or mileage).
- All travel must be booked no later than May 8, 2026
- Roundtrip transportation between Kansas City International Airport (MCI) and the hotel will be provided
- Hotel accommodations will be arranged and covered by the Indigenous Athletics Advancement Council (no out-of-pocket lodging costs)
Travel Stipend for Student-Athletes:
Approved student-athletes will be eligble to receive a $500 travel stipend to support transportation costs associated with attending the summit. Additional details regarding submission instructions and distribution will be provided upon acceptance.
