  • This workshop introduces students to responsible AI use and practical ways to generate income using AI tools.

    Students will explore key ethical concepts, such as bias and privacy, while learning how to apply AI in areas like digital creation, freelancing, and entrepreneurship.

    The session provides clear, real-world examples to help students use AI safely and effectively.

    This is an interactive session. Students should bring a laptop, tablet, or cellphone. 

    Open to 8th-12th grade students.

    Student Data & Privacy Protection

    Protecting your child’s privacy and digital safety is our top priority.

    We commit to the following safeguards:

    Students will NOT be required or encouraged to upload photos of themselves

    Students will NOT input personally identifiable information (PII) including:

     

    • Full legal name 
    • Home address
    • Phone numbers
    • Personal email addresses
    • Social Security numbers
    • School ID numbers
    • Financial or medical information

    Students will use AI through guided prompts and supervised activities.

    AI use will be limited to educational and programmatic purposes only.

    We will provide digital literacy guidance, including how to fact-check AI outputs and use tools responsibly.

    Appropriate Use Expectations

    Students participating in AI-supported activities are expected to:

    Use AI respectfully and ethically

    Avoid plagiarism or submitting AI work as their own without disclosure

    Refrain from generating harmful, inappropriate, or offensive content

    Follow all existing program technology and behavior policies

    Failure to adhere to these expectations may result in removal from the session.
