Terms:
At San Gabriel Reds, our goal is to create a thoughtful and positive breeding experience for everyone involved. This agreement guarantees the mating between the dogs listed above; however, it does not guarantee pregnancy or the arrival of a litter.
Before being approved for breeding, the bitch must have completed health testing and provide proof of clearances for Hips, Elbows. This helps ensure we are producing the healthiest puppies possible.
Timing for Fresh/Chilled Semen (unless using frozen semen):
Timing is everything when it comes to successful breeding with shipped semen. We strongly recommend ovulation testing, with progesterone levels reported in ng/ml. Once testing begins, we kindly ask that you keep us updated and share results as soon as possible so we can carefully plan collection and shipping on our end.
Shipping & Associated Costs:
Unless we’ve discussed other arrangements ahead of time, the bitch owner is responsible for shipping materials (boxes and extenders – $160) as well as all shipping costs. These can be paid using a FedEx account, credit card, or included in the stud fee arrangement.
If a repeat breeding is needed, the stud fee will be waived; however, all other associated costs (shipping, extenders, boarding, etc.) remain the responsibility of the bitch owner.
While we do everything we can to ensure a smooth process, San Gabriel Reds cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, or issues that may occur during shipment.
We care deeply about our dogs and our program, and as such, we reserve the right to refuse a breeding if necessary. A repeat breeding may also be declined in the following situations:
If timely communication about the bitch coming into heat is not provided
If agreed-upon fees from the initial breeding are not paid
If we are not notified of an unsuccessful litter within one week of the expected due date
All puppies produced from this pairing should be placed in homes or programs that align with our values. We do not support breeding for dilute traits, and all puppies not retained by the breeder should be placed on Limited Registration.
Payment Details:
We accept payment by cash, check (checks payable to: Logan Arnold), Zelle or Venmo. Unless other arrangements have been made, any remaining balance is due within three (3) days of the litter being whelped. Final payment must be completed before litter registration paperwork is signed.
