We're so excited for your kiddo to join us for this inaugural year of Blooma's Junior Arborist Summer Camp! Please see below for key details about key details for the camp, including location, ages, length of time, etc.
Key Information:
- Age Range: Ages 5 to 10
  - Depending on enrollment mix, we may split into smaller age-based groups (i.e. 5-7 and 8-10)
- Dates: Monday, 8/10/26 to Friday 8/14/26
- Times:
  - Drop-Off: 8:30 to 9:00am
  - Pick-Up: 3:00 to 3:30pm
- Location: Dunn Gardens
  - 13533 Northshire Rd NW, Seattle, WA 98177
- Price: $400 for full week per camper
Curriculum & Teacher Information:

Each day of junior arborist camp will immerse campers in nature-based learning with a focus on trees. Students will be outdoors for the majority of the sessions, with occasional indoor learning/creative activities. Activities & learning goals will be designed based on final ages, but may include leaf art, tree identification, climbing arborist demonstrations, plant health, nature walks, indigenous plant knowledge, and more.

We are targeting the following ratios, with exact numbers to be finalized later:
- 8-15 campers
- 3-5 full-time adults (max 5:1 ratio)
- 2-3 additional arborists for demonstrations
The objectives of this camp include:
1. Deepening children's knowlege about the trees & plants that surround us in the Pacific Northwest
2. Exposing children to the work that arborists do to take care of trees
3. Helping children connect with each other and the land through fun-filled exploration
