Confidentiality Agreement for Committee Members and Volunteers Amazing Race for Hunger Event
To: All Committee Members and Volunteers
Subject: Confidentiality and Ethical Standards
As a Committee Member or Volunteer for the Race for Hunger event, you are expected to uphold the integrity of the race and ensure that all participants have a fair and equal opportunity to compete. By signing below, you agree to the following terms of confidentiality and ethical conduct:
1. Confidentiality of Information All information discussed or shared during Committee and Volunteer meetings must be kept strictly confidential. This includes, but is not limited to, race strategies, racecourse details, and any other sensitive information that may be considered inside knowledge or beneficial to the competitors.
2. Non-Disclosure of Tips or Tricks Committee Members and Volunteers are strictly prohibited from offering any tips, tricks, or insider information to participants (racers) before, during, or after the event. This includes advice on race strategies, course navigation, or any other information that could give any racer an unfair advantage.
3. Disqualification for Breach of Confidentiality Any Committee Member or Volunteer found to have violated the confidentiality agreement, by providing inside information or otherwise interfering with the fairness of the race, will be subject to immediate removal from their position and potential disqualification of the team(s) involved.
4. Integrity of the Race All participants are racing for a charitable cause, and the integrity of the race must be maintained at all times. To ensure fairness, no inside information or preferential treatment shall be given to any team.
By signing this document, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and understand the consequences of any breach of confidentiality. You are expected to act with professionalism and in the best interest of the event, maintaining a fair, unbiased environment for all participants.
