    Marked in Darkness is a one-day market spanning multiple floors of the historic Scranton Cultural Center with creators, artists, and businesses whose work celebrates the eerie, the unusual, the supernatural, the macabre, and the wonderfully strange.

    We are seeking professional, high-quality vendors whose merchandise or services align with the atmosphere of the event.

    What We’re Looking For:

    We welcome unique creators, artisans, and businesses specializing in:
    • Horror-inspired artwork and handmade goods
    • Paranormal, supernatural, or metaphysical merchandise
    • Gothic, macabre, occult, witchcraft, or dark aesthetic creations
    • Cryptid, folklore, and monster-related pieces
    • Oddities, curiosities, bones, taxidermy, and wet specimens
    • Spooky décor, handcrafted items, and unusual collectibles
    • Dark literature, photography, prints, and independent authors
    • Alternative clothing, jewelry, accessories, and artistic expressions
    • Anything eerie, strange, bizarre, or wonderfully unusual

    Direct sales companies, MLMs, and mass-produced merchandise are not accepted.
    (examples include Scentsy, ColorStreet, Paparazzi, Avon, Thirty-One, etc.).

    All products must be original, professional, and appropriate for the theme of the show.
    Applications are reviewed for quality, uniqueness, and theme fit.

    Food Vendor Requirements:

    If you are selling any type of food product, you must be properly licensed and registered according to local and state guidelines.
    The City of Scranton may require additional fees for food vendors, and these fees are the responsibility of the vendor.

    Event Day & Hours:

    Saturday & Sunday, October 17, 2026
    Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM 

    Vendors are required to remain set up for the full duration of the event and may not break down prior to 6:00 PM for the safety and security of patrons.

    If an emergency arises, please speak with John or Keriann from WVGT before beginning breakdown.

    All vendors must be fully broken down and off the floor on Saturday, October 17th, by 7:30 PM.

    Vendor Space & Setup Details:
    • Vendor spaces are approximately 8’ x 8’. Please plan accordingly.
    • Each space includes one 8-foot table and two chairs.
    • Setup must be completed at least 30 minutes prior to the event each day.
    • If setup is available on October 16th, additional details will be shared closer to the event.
    • A setup time selection schedule will be sent as the event approaches.
    • All vendor spaces will be assigned by WVGT and will NOT be changed on day of show.

    •Vendor fee is $130 (plus fees) for the one-day event.

    Vendor Requirements:
    • Booths must remain clean, professional, and visually appealing.
    • All merchandise must align with the theme.
    • Acceptance is not guaranteed; the event is curated for quality and balance.
    • Application does not equal an acceptance to the show.
    • Load-in instructions, booth assignments, and additional rules will be provided upon acceptance.

    Payment Policy:

    Accepted vendors will receive a payment link via email.

    To secure your space:
    Payment is due within 30 days of acceptance, or immediately upon approval if you wish to reserve your spot right away.

    Spaces not paid within 30 days will be forfeited and offered to the next vendor on the waitlist.

    No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled by the host, Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours.

    Communication Policy:

    All official communication—including acceptance notices, setup details, and payment links—will come directly from Wyoming Valley Ghost Tours (WVGT).
    WVGT is the sole event host.

    Application Closing Date:

    Vendor applications will close four months prior to the event, on:

    June 17, 2026

    Early application is strongly encouraged, as spaces are limited and may fill before the deadline.

    Please provide ALL information in ALL required fields.  Return the electronic Vendor Application with photo samples (NO PAYMENT) as soon as possible as vendors will be accepted on a rolling basis.  BE AWARE that the application link will close once all vendor spots have been filled.  Only complete vendor applications will be accecpted and no applications.  Payments are NOT required with this application.  Acceptance Emails will go out as they come in, within a timely fashion.  However, an application DOES NOT guarantee that a vendor will be accepted to Marked in Darkness.   Payments and Vendor Contract and Terms, will be due within 30 days days of the acceptance email, with terms and aggreement as well (there will be two (2) links to complete in the acceptance email).  For additional information, please contact: info@wyomingvalleyghosttours.com or (570) 881-4468
