NLCUP's Ejecutivos in the Making Application
Ejecutivos in the Making is a professional development program designed to advance and amplify the voices of Latinx credit union professionals at the mid-management level. Designed for those who are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey, this program bridges the gap between where you are and where you're headed. Through a curated series of virtual sessions led by industry executives, participants will deepen their leadership skills, expand their professional networks, and gain direct exposure to executive-level decision-making.
While our primary audience is Latinx mid-management professionals within the credit union industry, we warmly welcome allies who are committed to fostering inclusive and equitable workplaces.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this program, applicants must:

Hold a position in middle management or higher
Be a member of NLCUP
Have at least five years of credit union experience or provide a compelling explanation of why this program is important to your professional growth.
Commit to completing the job shadowing component of the program. (We make every effort to place participants within driving distance of their home credit union; however, please note that any travel expenses incurred are the responsibility of the participant or their sponsoring credit union.)

Acknowledgements and Dates
Please refer to this calendar throughout the program to stay informed about important deadlines and session dates. A manual with these dates and other details will be provided upon acceptance. All dates are subject to change; any updates will be communicated promptly. All participants are expected to attend the Kick-Off, actively engage in weekly sessions, complete a job shadowing day(s), and attend the virtual graduation. No more than two absences allowed without prior written approval.
