Waiver & Release of Liability
Intuitive Leadership – Reiki, Energy Work, & Meditation Sessions
Please read carefully before signing. By signing below, you (the “Client” or “They”) agree to the following terms and conditions for participation in any session, whether in-person or remote.
I. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF SERVICES
I acknowledge and understand that:
A. Intuitive Leadership and its practitioners, including Shannon Power, are not licensed physicians, psychotherapists, or other state-licensed medical or healthcare professionals.
B. Services offered may include, but are not limited to: Reiki, sound bowls, tuning forks, meditation, intuitive guidance, and other energy-based practices (“Energy Work”).
C. These services are intended as complementary or alternative healing arts and are not a substitute for licensed medical care, including but not limited to rehabilitation, physical therapy, psychotherapy, or any other professional treatment.
D. Energy Work is designed to support relaxation, stress reduction, and overall well-being. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or psychological condition.
II. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Client agrees that:
A. They are at least 18 years of age and legally competent to enter into this agreement.
B. They have voluntarily chosen to participate in this session and take full responsibility for their own physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
C. They will inform the practitioner of any relevant medical conditions (including pregnancy, cancer, pacemaker, or other conditions that may affect the session).
D. They will continue to seek advice, diagnosis, and treatment from licensed medical professionals for any physical or psychological conditions they may have.E. Any purchase of stones, oils, or other items offered is for personal holistic support only and is not a medical treatment.
III. NATURE OF SESSIONS
Client understands that:
A. Sessions may involve relaxation, visualization, guided meditation, or other activities that may influence their emotions or imagination.
B. No intuitive practitioner can guarantee 100% accuracy in any guidance, reassurance, or validation provided.
C. Once a session has begun, fees are non-refundable.
D. Missed appointments not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance will incur a $50 cancellation fee.
IV . ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
A. Client voluntarily assumes full responsibility for any risk, injury, accident, or outcome that may result from participation in this session, whether in-person or remote.
B. Client expressly releases, indemnifies, and holds harmless Shannon Power, Intuitive Leadership, and all of its practitioners, officers, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all claims, liability, damages, costs, or expenses (including incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or punitive damages) arising out of or connected to:
a. Client’s participation in any session, class, event, whether in-person or remote;
b. Any accidents, injuries, or damages sustained on the premises or while entering or leaving the premises where services are provided;
c. d. Any information, guidance, or services received during or after the session;
Any decisions, actions, or outcomes Client chooses to make based on such guidance.
V . ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Waiver & Release constitutes the entire agreement between Client and Shannon Power and Intuitive Leadership. It is binding on Client, their heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. If any part of this agreement is held invalid, the remainder shall continue in full force and effect.
CONSENT AND ACKNOWLEDGMENT
By signing below, I, Client, confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Waiver & Release. I understand the nature of the services provided and agree to release the practitioner(s), including Shannon Power, and Intuitive Leadership from any liability.
