    2026 Board of Directors Nomination Form

    KPhA is seeking nominations for its upcoming Board of Directors election. You may either self-nominate or nominate on behalf of someone else. KPhA will follow-up with all eligible nominees to confirm interest and obtain additional information.
  • All members of the Kansas Pharmacists Association Board of Directors must live and/or work in Kansas. 

    The Kansas Pharmacists Association Board of Directors meets quarterly in person at the KPhA office in Topeka, KS. Board meetings run approximately 10a-3pm and a virtual option is available if needed. All board members should be able to attend board meetings as scheduled as well as other KPhA events such as the KPhA Annual Meeting, KPhA Regional Meetings, KPhA Advocacy Day. 

    Many board members also serve as the board representative to a KPhA Committee - most committees meet monthly for 30-60 minutes. Once elected, board members can coordinate with the KPhA president to be slated into a committee of interest. 

    Position requirements and brief descriptions - for additional details, see qualifications and board responsibilities in the KPhA Bylaws. We encourage applicants to talk with a current board member to learn about service to KPhA as well.

    • KPhA President-Elect - needs to have served at least one year on the KPhA Board of Directors and needs to be a licensed pharmacist. The President-Elect serves on the KPhA Executive Committee, which meets on a regular cadance thorughout the year. The President-Elect carries appointment power to committees and oversees KPhA elections at the end of their term. The president elect will be elevated to President and Immediate Past President for a three years of service to the KPhA Board.
    • KPhA Treasurer - needs to be knowlegable about budget and finance and needs to be a licensed pharmacist. The Treasurer serves on the KPhA Executive Committee, which meets on a regular cadance thorughout the year. The Treasurer will need to review KPhA financal documents with the KPhA Executive Director.  The term of service is three years.
    • KPhA Academy Representatives - need to be a member of the academy they seek to represent and knowledgable about the member population they would serve. The term of service is two years. 
    • KPhA Member At-Large - can be any member of the association. Member At-Large represents the general membership of the organization and serves as the co-chair of the KPhA Policy Review Committee.
