    Booking Form
  • Residential Summer Camp for children age 10-17

Where? Savio House, Ingersley Road, Bollington, Macclesfield SK10 5RW

When? The St Peter's Summer Camp for Boys is Monday 3 August to Saturday 8 August 2026. The St Petronilla Summer Camp for Girls is Monday 10 August to Saturday 15 August. Both camps begin at 3pm on the Monday and conclude by 3pm on the Saturday.

Who? Children aged 10-17 at the start of the camp. We regret it is not possible to make any exceptions.

What does it involve? The camp will involve scheduled activities including Holy Mass in the traditional Latin form, prayer and catechetical talks, sports (football, hiking, other games), meals, quizzes, a drama production, and excursions by coach to local places of interest.

    How much does it cost?

£200 for the first child, £100 each for other children of the same family attending the same camp.* Deadline: 1 July for booking form & deposit; first day of camp for balance (less deposit). Bank details can be found on the reverse of this form.

*This figure represents only a fraction of what it actually costs. We will not turn away any child because of inability to pay. If you are unable to pay the full amount, please contact us to make other arrangements.

Please complete a separate form for each child attending. A place will be reserved on receipt of a deposit of £30.

If the camp is oversubscribed, priority will be given initially to those who attend FSSP apostolates, and thereafter on a first-come-first-served basis.

  • Mobile Phones and other Devices

We ask that your child not bring a mobile phone or smart device, or if they do bring such a device, that it be handed in at the start and returned at the end of the camp. This is for the following reasons:

    1. Freedom from mobile phones and other devices that can access the internet is an important element of the summer camps.

    2. We have a strict procedure for contacting parents or the relevant authorities should accidents or problems arise on an activity or camp. Mobile phones can compromise this procedure, since they give participants the possibility of contacting their parents directly, bypassing the role of the supervisors, and perhaps causing undue stress to parent or child.

    3. Now that most phones have cameras and internet access, there is the potential for actions taken by young people, however innocent the intent, to be misinterpreted, leading unintentionally to Child Protection issues. This is particularly true if photographs are taken without consent or are inappropriate and then subsequently broadcast on social networks.

However, we recognise that it may be important for a child to have one when travelling to or from the camp. If this is the case, we ask that it be handed in to staff on arrival and collected before departure.

Please ensure that your child has a watch for the sake of punctuality to the activities, since phones cannot be used for this purpose! An alarm clock may also be helpful!
