If you have secure income and housing but are still low to moderate-income with debt, little to no savings, etc. but you are able to pay bills on time and maybe pay for eating out or small purchases monthly you would be at the low to mid-range amount.
If you have financial abundance, a multi-income household, low to no debt, can go on trips or vacations, own property, and/or have a savings etc. you would be at the upper end of the suggested amount.
