Minimally Invasive Procedures
- Percutaneous trigger finger release
- Percutaneous needle aponeurotomy (PNA) for Dupuytren's disease
- Ultrasound-guided cortisone injections, when clinically indicated
Dr. Brutus' Approach
Recognized for his expertise in pathologies of the hand, wrist, and peripheral nerve compression syndromes (including carpal tunnel syndrome, cubital tunnel syndrome, lacertus syndrome, and others), Dr. Brutus provides:
- A thorough and focused clinical examination
- Diagnostic ultrasound (POCUS), when appropriate
- On-site X-rays, if required
- A detailed review of previous imaging studies, EMG/NCS results, and medical records
- A comprehensive written report provided directly to the patient (available in English or French)
This detailed report is designed to help you better understand your condition and assist you in discussions with your family physician, therapist, surgeon, or other healthcare providers.
When appropriate, Dr. Brutus may also recommend specialized hand therapy or refer you to a surgeon or another medical specialist.
Please note that if you are referred to a physician within the public healthcare system, it is the patient's responsibility to arrange the appointment and any subsequent follow-up. Our team is happy to direct you to the appropriate resources; however, we do not schedule appointments within the public system, coordinate referrals, or have any control over public wait times.
