  • Bonnie Bear Day Care supports the rehabilitation of ex-offenders. Recruitment uses the Exemption Order of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 for safer recruitment to posts involving work with children, vulnerable adults, and other positions of trust. This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check. Successful candidates must undertake a DBS check before the appointment can begin. Applicants may need to verify identity by producing original documents at interview. Having a conviction or record of unacceptable behaviour would not necessarily bar employment; decisions are made on the individual circumstances of each case and relevance to the role.
