Requirements for class: Students must have a dslr or mirrorless camera with manual settings of iso, shutter speed and aperture (fstop) with interchangeable lenses.
Class dates:
Monday, May 11th, 18th, 25th and June 1st, 8th and 15th from 6:30-8pm. Our outing night will be 6:30-9/9:30pm
Class 1:
-Basic camera settings and modes (where, why and how) - Setting up camera for success
-Exposure Triangle: ISO, F stop and shutter and how the exposure triangle comes together and how we can use this for creative choices.
Class 2:
-Focus and Depth of Field (and practical)
-Assessing the scenario.
-Manual mode vs Aperture/shutter priority
Class 3:
Composition
Class 4:
Outing night (may switch with class 5 or 6 if needed for weather)
Class 5:
-Lighting types
-Practical tips for beginners
-Learning to analyze our own photos
Class 6:
Wildlife photography
Close up photography
Landscape photography
The studio is located at 149 Cardinal Street (north end of Barrie) out of my studio in the basement. It does have a separate entrance into the studio so it is mostly separate from my actual living space. I do have a cat in the home. She is not allowed in the studio but she does use the staircase, etc in her travels.
Maximum of 8 participants.
If anyone is sick I do have the option to have you join from home via zoom for any of the lesson portions OR can catch you up the following week.
There is no reschedule date for anyone who is unable to attend one of the classes.

These fee's are NON-REFUNDABLE if you are unable to attend the class unless I am able to fill your spot OR you can sell your spot to another photographer. It is NON-REFUNDABLE once the class has started regardless of your attendance.
