Homeschool Teacher & Academic Responsibilities
Check each box below to indicate your agreement with the following statements.
*
I understand that Family Education Days is a homeschool co-op, not a traditional school. FED exists to support families in their homeschooling journey. FED is not a drop-off program and does not replace the work that must be completed at home during the rest of the week.
FED classes are led by qualified tutors. However, tutors do not take the place of me as my child’s homeschool teacher.
Because the tutor meets with my child(ren) for only one hour each week, I understand that I am responsible for supporting their learning throughout the rest of the week. Tutors design their classes with the expectation that parents will help students fulfill class commitments at home. These expectations are outlined in course descriptions and tutor contracts.
As my child’s homeschool teacher, I acknowledge that I am responsible for my child’s education and for ensuring that assignments and activities are completed for each enrolled class. I understand that parents should review course descriptions before registration to ensure they can meet the at-home expectations.
I understand that it is my responsibility to actively monitor my student’s grades through Google Classroom and the FED website.
I understand that, according to FED’s academic policy, if a student fails to submit assigned homework for three consecutive weeks, the tutor may remove the student from class. Parents will still be responsible for all tuition due as outlined in the current Drop Fees Policy.
I understand that I should communicate directly with my student’s tutor when a concern arises. In keeping with FED’s Conflict Resolution Policy, if I am unable to resolve the concern with the tutor, I should contact a FED Board member for mediation.
Homeschool Teacher & Academic Responsibilities: I have read these guidelines and agree.

Parent on Campus
Check each box below to indicate your agreement with the following statements.

I understand that Family Education Days is not a drop-off program. As a co-op, FED depends on the active involvement of all families, and all families serve in some capacity.
I understand that all children age 13 and under must have a responsible adult on campus at all times. This adult is not expected to attend class but must remain on campus. When students are not in class, they should be with their parent or supervising adult.
I understand that students age 14 and older may attend co-op without a parent on campus. However, if a student is unable to follow FED rules, a parent may be required to attend co-op with that student.
I understand that parents are always responsible for supervising their child while on campus, including ensuring that their child remains in permitted areas of campus and cleans up after themselves.
Parent on Campus: I have read these guidelines and agree.

I have read the FED Handbook published on the website and have reviewed it with my student(s).
Our family agrees to abide by FED guidelines while participating in FED activities, both on and off campus.
Our family understands that all FED activities and classes are designed and conducted in alignment with FED’s Statement of Faith. We agree to respect this principle while participating in FED activities, both on and off campus.
I understand that these guidelines are communicated through the FED Handbook and, when needed, through email communication.
FED Handbook: I have read these guidelines and agree.

Service Hours & Family Participation
Check each box below to indicate your agreement with the following statements.
*
I understand that Family Education Days operates as a co-op that relies on the active involvement of all families. The strength of our co-op depends on the effort and collaboration of the families involved.
I understand that part of this involvement includes fulfilling my required service hours. For the 2026/27 school year, that requirement is 15 hours, typically served as 1 hour per week for 15 weeks. To ensure adequate coverage, only tutors teaching 2 or more classes are exempt from this requirement.
I understand that if I am unable to complete an assigned service hour, it is my responsibility to arrange for a replacement and notify the Service Hour Coordinator of the change. Failure to secure coverage may result in a mandatory fee, as outlined in the service hour policy, and may jeopardize my family’s eligibility for FED membership in the following year.
I understand that being a member of FED includes a commitment to serving and strengthening our community. I will select an area on the next page where I am willing to contribute during the coming year.
Service Hours & Family Participation: I have read these guidelines and agree.

I am willing to help in the following areas next year:
Field Trips – Plan and coordinate field trips throughout the year. Our goal is to have enough volunteers in this group so that each person only coordinates one field trip.
Elementary Activities – Plan and coordinate activities for our elementary students. This may include play day activities, a Christmas party, and a spring celebration.
Tutor Appreciation – Plan and coordinate several tutor appreciation events throughout the year.
Administrative Support – Help with administrative projects such as laminating signs, preparing nametags, or assisting with website edits.
Middle School Activities – Assist Student Council with planning and coordinating activities for our middle school students. This may include a Christmas party, a spring dance or event, and a few additional informal activities throughout the year.
Moms’ Activities – Plan and coordinate several activities for moms outside of co-op.
Prom Support – Help with prom preparation and supervision.
Graduation Support – Help with graduation preparation and serve on-site the day of graduation. This is not an ideal role for someone with a graduating senior, since you will likely want to focus on your senior that day.
Walking Beside You – Help plan monthly support group meetings, mentor those new to homeschooling, and serve as a resource for new families as they navigate FED.
Field Day – Plan and coordinate Field Day in the spring.
Fall Carnival Committee – Assist Student Council with planning and coordinating this event in the fall.
FED’s Got Talent – Assist Student Council with planning and coordinating this event in the spring.
Fundraising – Plan and coordinate fundraising opportunities such as bake sales, donut sales, pizza sales, and T-shirt sales. This is an important group because these fundraisers help keep membership costs down.

Payments
Check each box below to indicate your agreement with the following statements.
*
I understand that by enrolling my child(ren) in Family Education Days classes, I am committing to paying all listed supply fees and tuition directly to each tutor on time.
I understand that supply fees are due at the time of registration in order to hold my student’s spot in class. Supply fees are non-refundable.
I understand that tuition for the school year is divided into 8 equal payments. As listed in the class description, those payments are due to the tutor on the first Friday of each applicable month, according to the FED calendar.
I understand that late payments incur a $5 late fee per child, per class, per week. Payment of applicable late fees is required.
I understand that if I withdraw my child from a class, or if my family withdraws from the co-op, I am still responsible for applicable tuition according to the FED Drop Policy outlined in the FED Handbook.
I understand that failure to pay all fees owed to FED and/or tutors may result in my family being removed from co-op and/or being ineligible to reapply for membership in the future.
Payments: I have read these guidelines and agree.
