About the Community Stage

Bring your talent to the Whoop-Up Days Marketplace! We’re looking for local dance groups, young performers, and community performers to take the stage and showcase their creativity.

Location: Whoop-Up Days Marketplace, located in Trade Hall C & UFA Hall

Provided Set-up: Stage, Mic, and Speakers. Additional equipment (mixers, etc. can be requested.)

Performance Dates: Tuesday, August 19 - Saturday, August 23

Performance Times:
- 5:00 PM
- 6:00 PM
Honourarium: $50 per 30-minute time slot

Performance dates and times will be coordinated by Excite Lethbridge by August 1, 2026.

Depending on your availability, we will be in touch with you directly to schedule your performance in the Whoop-Up Days Community Stage.

Rules & Regulations
- Performances must be appropriate for guests of all ages.
- Performances must be upbeat and in keeping with the tone of the event.
- Buskers must perform in the designated area(s) in the Family Fun Zone.
- Performers should be considerate to Marketplace vendors.
- Merchandise is not permitted to be sold unless approved by Excite Lethbridge in advance.
- Performers under 18 must have the approval of their legal guardian.
- Performers under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Performers are not permitted to perform without being scheduled by Excite Lethbridge.
- The usage of hazardous materials, including but not limited to flammable, toxic, or other dangerous substances, as well as potentially harmful items like swords, firearms, knives and any other weapons, are prohibited from performances unless authorized by LDE.
- Prior to performing, all props intended for use in a performance must by approved by Excite Lethbridge.

Application Submission

This submission is subject to and bound by all rules & regulations. The applicant, having read the policies, rules & regulations, understands they form part of this contract, as entered into with Excite Lethbridge.
