  • Voluntary Participation
    I agree that my participation as a hosting location in Art Hop 2026 is voluntary.
    No Liability for Artwork
    I agree that I am not responsible for insuring artists' work and am not liable for loss, theft, or damage to artwork displayed at my business during Art Hop 2026, except in cases of willful misconduct.
    Release of Liability
    I agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless the Wrigley Center, participating artists, and event partners from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorney fees, arising from my participation as a hosting business in Art Hop 2026.
    Display Period Cooperation
    I agree to display the assigned artwork for the agreed duration of Art Hop 2026 and to allow the artist reasonable access for installation and removal at mutually agreed-upon times.
    Care of Display Space
    I agree to provide a reasonably safe and suitable space for the display of artwork and to notify the artist or event organizer promptly if concerns arise that may affect the artwork's safety.
    Property Damage Acknowledgment
    I agree that if artwork installation causes damage to my property, responsibility for repair or replacement will be addressed directly with the artist, as outlined in the artist agreement.
    Agreement Term
    I agree that this agreement is effective from the date of my acceptance through the conclusion of Art Hop 2026, including installation, display, voting, and awards activities.

  • Thank you so much for participating in the 2026 Art Hop! Applications across the board will close on Friday, May 1st. We will then begin pairing vendors and art installations with businesses. We will reach out and let you know who has been paired with you and to expect contact with them soon after that.

    Art contest installations and vendors both should be set up and ready by 5pm on Friday, May 15th. 

    Vending will be a two-day event, Friday May 15th from 5p-8p and Saturday, May 16th from 10a-8p. By agreeing to host a vendor, you are agreeing to stay open for the duration of vending even if it is outside of your normal operating hours so please take that into consideration! We want everyone - artists, businesses and contestants - to have every opportunity to gain more foot traffic, fresh eyes and promote comeraderie and community parterships downtown!
