We change our names because of our gender, ethnicity, relationship status, or other identities. As anti-trans and anti-immigrant policies sweep the country, digital surveillance tools are more powerful than ever. Join us for a sidewalk teach-in to learn about who knows that you changed your name, what implications this has and what you can do about it. Expect digital security zines, snacks, and some organizing. Exact location will be provided a few days prior.

We are already gathered is an event series that brings people together who are already assembled in datasets. Each event is documented with a long exposure photograph that anonymizes participants.
