The Lender agrees to provide the above amount as a Qard Hasan (interest-free loan) by May 1, 2026, or, if after May 1, 2026, immediately upon execution of this agreement, by cheque or draft payable to Muslim Community of Northumberland, to support the acquisition and development of the Masjid and Islamic Community Center located in Cobourg, Ontario.

Terms of Agreement:

- This loan is a Qard Hasan and carries no interest (riba) under any circumstances.

- The Borrower (MCN) agrees to repay the full amount in good faith based on its financial ability.

- Repayment may be made in full or in part at any time before the agreed upon maturity date.

- No additional fees, charges, or financial benefits will be provided to the Lender.

- This agreement is made sincerely for the sake of Allah and in accordance with Islamic principles.

By submitting this document, you confirm your agreement to the terms outlined above. This agreement constitutes a binding arrangement between you and Masjid Al-Ghafoor.

If the Board identifies any concerns, we will contact you promptly. Otherwise, we will proceed with coordinating the collection of your Qard Hasan.
