ASO Phase 2 Research Expression of Interest Form
Understanding Arts Service Organizations in a Changing Arts Ecosystem (ASO Research) is a multi-phase research study that aims to understand the role, impacts and ongoing evolution of arts service, intermediary, and regranting organizations in the United States today. Led by cultural strategist Alejandra Duque Cifuentes and Senior Research and Planning Consultant, Carrie Blake of ADC Consulting, in collaboration with an Advisory Cohort of arts workers, this multi-phase research project began with Phase 1 in 2023 with background research to understand what is already known about ASOs and ground the process in the experiences and perspectives of ASOs, their workers, partners, funders, and beneficiaries. Phase 2 National Scan launched in 2026 and will gather primary data through a national survey.
