  • This is an application for the Rockefeller Leadership Fellows (RLF) Program.  

    RLF is a leadership capstone program, exploring personal leadership in the context of public policy and politics. Fellows will work in teams on a public policy project (3P) presentation to conclude the program at the end of the Winter term.


    This application is for rising juniors and seniors (Class of 2027 and 2028). Complete only ONE application per person.

    The final application deadline is Sunday, May 17th, 2026 by 11:59 pm. Early applications are encouraged.  

    Fellows must be on campus for the entire fall and winter terms, attend Monday evening sessions from 6:00-8:00 pm, as well as, two Rockefeller Center Public Programs. Additionally, Fellows must attend a mandatory fall retreat scheduled from Saturday October 10th to Sunday morning, the 11th, and a Dartmouth Winterim trip to Washington, DC

    November 30th-December 4th.

    1. Describe your leadership philosophy and style.

    • What do you think are the most important qualities of a public leader?
    • What do you feel are your leadership strengths and weaknesses? How do you hope to grow in these areas?

    2. How have you demonstrated leadership in your activities on or off campus? Provide specific examples. 

    3. What do you hope to contribute to the RLF cohort? What do you hope to gain? 

    4. What public policy issues are of interest to you?
