Supervisor of Elementary Summer Programs

The Harrison Central School District is seeking candidates for a position as the Supervisor of Elementary Summer Programs.  Responsibilities include:

• Coordinating collection and review of program details including dates, times, locations, program descriptions for K-5 programs
• Developing and overseeing calendar of program locations
• Recommending teachers to staff the programs to the Office of Human Resources
• Assisting with development/review of summer learning web page and registration forms
• Identifying materials and supplies needed for programs and working with C&I and Business Offices to place orders
• Monitoring registration and closing programs that are full
• Confirming locations for programs and working with Business Office to arrange transportation from AM to PM sessions
• Recommending teacher aides to be hired to support the programs
• Coordinating information with the summer nurses related to student medical needs
• Developing a schedule of daily on-site supervision at each school location
• Responding to inquiries from parents about summer programs
• Monitoring delivery of programs and collecting data to assess the effectiveness of the programs

Effective Dates: July 20 - August 6, 2026, Mon - Thurs

Stipend Amount: $7,340

Qualifications: SBL, SDL, or SDA certification
