Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join our team on a part-time basis, working two to four days per week. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a nurturing and loving personality, and a commitment to fostering early childhood development. Job runs from August to May, do not apply if you cannot commit to a full school year.

Responsibilities:

Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities and lessons for preschool-aged children.
Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Provide individualized attention and support to meet the needs of each child.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Follow all health and safety protocols and maintain compliance with licensing regulations.
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Perform other duties as assigned by the director or supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a high school diploma; associate's or bachelor's degree in education, early childhood education or a related field preferred.

2. Previous experience working with young children in a school or preschool.
3. Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with young children.
6. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

7. CPR and first aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
8. Must pass a background check
