Insurance Waiver Options

If you do not hold valid plant hire insurance, you may proceed under our waiver scheme.A Damage Waiver (10%) covers accidental damage to equipment.A Theft Waiver (10%) covers theft of equipment (subject to terms).These charges are calculated as a percentage of the total hire invoice and will be added accordingly.

Damage & Theft Waiver Terms
Where the Customer does not hold valid plant hire insurance, MAD4 Hire & Haulage may offer a Damage Waiver and/or Theft Waiver.

Charges apply as follows:

Damage Waiver: 10% of hire charges
Theft Waiver: 10% of hire charges
Both Waivers: 20% of hire charges
The Damage Waiver covers accidental damage to equipment.
The Theft Waiver covers theft of the complete equipment unit only.

The waivers do not cover:

Theft of parts or components (including batteries, chargers, keys, or accessories)
Paint, plaster, concrete, or other contamination, overspray, or staining
Any damage arising from the Customer’s trade or working environment
Any form of hot works (including welding, cutting, grinding, or heat) unless agreed in writing
Misuse, negligence, unauthorised use, or failure to secure equipment
The Customer remains responsible for all excluded losses and costs.

By selecting a waiver option, the Customer confirms acceptance of these terms and agrees that waiver charges will be applied to all hire invoices.
