First Time Attendee Summer Convention Scholarship Application

Are you a young professional in the HBA looking to grow your career, expand your network and attend the HBA of Michigan's biggest event of the year? HBA members 45 and under can apply for a First Time Attendee Scholarship to attend the 2026 convention in Traverse City! The convention will be held at Park Place Hotel on August 5 - 7.

Scholarships cover:
- Complimentary full convention registration
- Access to all speaker education sessions and networking events and activities
- Complimentary hotel room for 2 nights at Park Place Hotel
The HBAM Young Professionals Committee will select recipients based on their involvement in the industry, interest in professional growth, and overall potential to benefit from the convention experience. Applicants must be 45 years of age or younger and a member of their local HBA.

Do you know a YP member who’s making an impact in the building industry? HBA members can also nominate someone for this opportunity.
