  • Nominees should be students who have made a special effort to succeed and have overcome obstacles such as returning to school, leaving a gang, improving their attendance, changing their attitude or overcoming physical, mental or economic barriers.
      

    How to Nominate

    Your nomination must be must be submitted to your ACSA region. Please check with your region leadership for instructions on how to submit the form and by what date.

    Emailed PDF on Submission

    When you submit this online form, you will receive an email with a PDF copy of your nomination to forward to your district, charter or region leadership, as instructed by your region. You will have the opportunity to make edits to the form and receive an updated PDF, if needed.

  • Acknowledgement of Publicity

  • The name, school, district, grade, narrative of success, and images of the student will be used by ACSA for recognition and publicity purposes.
     
    For students selected at the state level, ACSA will interview the students and support
    teams for a feature video, to be shared on ACSA’s website, publications and through social media channels, including YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, and at the statewide awards ceremony in November. Previous videos can be watched on ACSA's YouTube Channel.
     
    Student contact information will remain confidential. Confidential or sensitive stories or elements of stories will not be shared without the express permission of the student ortheir guardian.
