The Northern Virginia (NOVA) 4-H Educational & Conference Center located Front Royal, Virginia is hiring a Development Director. This is a part-time, year-round hybrid position leading and managing the 4-H Centers fundraising and development efforts.

The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in fundraising and donor relations. (full job description below)

Who is the NOVA 4-H Center?

Since 1981, the Northern Virginia 4-H Educational Center has offered year-round, research-based programming to the youth and families of Northern Virginia. In addition to its acclaimed camps, the Center hosts a variety of corporate retreats, festivals, team building programs, and outdoor recreation.

The 4-H Center sits on 229 acres in Front Royal, Virginia. Our programs stress the 4-H philosophy of “learn by doing”, which means participants are actively learning during their experiences due to full engagement in the activities. This Experiential Education leads to the development of lifelong skills.

We believe the 4-H Center programs and services give us the opportunity to positively impact our community. For that reason, we consider a positive attitude and the ability to be friendly, flexible and caring toward youth and adults to be as important as previous education, training, or certifications.

The Northern Virginia 4-H Educational and Conference Center’s mission is to facilitate proven experiential learning programs for youth, families, and adults that educate, inspire and connect.
