    The Alcove Artisan Marketplace is a thoughtfully curated marketplace that brings together Rhode-Island based artists, makers, and small businesses. More than a traditional market, it’s a space to discover meaningful work and build connections across our community!

    Please note: Submission of this application does not guarantee acceptance. Our Curator and Public Program Manager will review all applications with care and will be in touch if you are accepted or placed on the waitlist. A $20 vendor fee will be invoiced upon acceptance to confirm your participation.

  • The Alcove Expectations

    Please read through and acknowledge and agree to the following vendor expectations:
    1. All Vendors will check in with The Alcove when they arrive.
    2. All Vendors should be set up and ready to vend 30 minutes prior to the start of the marketplace.
    3. The Alcove will provide one (1) table and two (2) folding chairs for your use. All other materials and supplies are the vendor's responsibility. 
    4. Electricity is limited. Please come prepared to power your booth safely indoors if you need to.
    5. Vendor fees are non-refundable.
    6. If The Alcove cancels or reschedules an event, vendors will be contacted immediately to be notified of cancellation or to confirm if vendor can attend new date. 
    7. Vendors are expected to participate for the full duration of the event. Leaving early may disrupt the marketplace and could result in removal from the current event and/or disqualification from future marketplaces.
    8. The Alcove strives to provide a welcoming space for all vendors. If you need accommodations (e.g., early departure), please notify us below or at least one month in advance. Requests can be emailed to info@alcoveri.org
    9. The Alcove has limited parking with one handicap accessible space; vendors may pull into our parking lot to unload more easily but otherwise, vendors will be directed to use free street parking along Broadway or the nearby paid lots. 
    10. The Alcove Curator and Program Manager will connect with you day-of to guide unloading times so arrival times are staggered.
  • Payment

    The participation fee for the Alcove Artisan Marketplace is $20. If your application is accepted, we will send an invoice via email. Payment is due within seven (7) days of receipt; applications with unpaid fees after this period will not be eligible for participation.

  • Liability

    By signing up for this event, I agree to the following: I, the undersigned Artist/Entertainer/Vendor/Volunteer, voluntarily participate in The Alcove Artisan Market. I release and hold harmless The Alcove, and their staff, volunteers, affiliates,  and assigns from any liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation, including bodily injury, illness, death, or property damage.

    I understand the organization does not provide financial, medical, or insurance assistance, and I waive any claims beyond what may be voluntarily offered. I assume the risk of any hazardous activities and release the organization from liability for any resulting harm. I grant The Alcove all rights to any photos, videos, or recordings made during my participation, including any proceeds or benefits derived. This waiver is governed by Rhode Island law, and if any part is invalid, the remainder remains enforceable.
