1. Program Eligibility
The Family Adventure Weekend is suitable for participants aged 8 years and above. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
2. Supervision and Staffing
All activities are delivered and supervised by fully qualified CAMP Fairbridge activity staff. All staff hold current Working With Children Checks and relevant certifications to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
3. Accommodation
Dorm style accommodation is co-ed. Booking groups will be allocated dorm accommodation together but may be sharing with another family group. Please contact the office if you require further information before booking.
4. Parental/Guardian Responsibility
All children must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times throughout the duration of the program.
5. Health, Medical, and Dietary Requirements
Participants must disclose all relevant medical conditions, allergies, dietary requirements, or additional needs at the time of registration. This information is essential to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all attendees. CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to decline participation if adequate support cannot be provided.
6. Program Changes
CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to modify the program itinerary, activities, or schedule due to weather conditions, safety concerns, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control. Participants will be notified of any significant changes as soon as practicable.
7. Participant Requirements (Clothing and Equipment)
For safety and comfort, all participants are required to wear and bring the following:
• Enclosed footwear (mandatory for all activities)
• Sun-safe clothing (hat, sunscreen)
• Long pants or knee-length shorts
• Warm layers (jumper and/or jacket)
• Refillable water bottle
Failure to comply with these requirements may result in participants being unable to take part in certain activities.
8. Assumption of Risk
Outdoor and adventure-based activities may involve inherent risks. By registering, participants acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for participation.
9. Behaviour and Safety
All participants are expected to follow instructions from staff and behave in a respectful and safe manner. CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive, without refund.
10. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CAMP Fairbridge is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage sustained during participation, except where caused by proven negligence.
11. Photography and Media Consent
Photos or videos may be taken during activities for promotional purposes. Please notify CAMP Fairbridge in writing prior to the event if you do not consent to being photographed or filmed.
12. Payment Terms
Full payment is required upon confirmation of your booking to secure your place.
13. Cancellation and Refund Policy
• Cancellations made with a minimum of 30 days’ notice prior to the scheduled event will receive a full refund.
• Cancellations made between 30 and 14 days prior to the scheduled event will incur a 30% cancellation fee.
• Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the scheduled event are not permitted and are non-refundable.
CAMP Fairbridge reserves the right to cancel the event if minimum participant numbers are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
