  • Nomination for the City of Vincent Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (DAIAG)

  • The City of Vincent is seeking nominations from community members to join the Disability Access and Inclusion Advisory Group (DAIAG). The DAIAG has been established to provide advice, insights and lived-experience perspectives to support the development of the City’s next Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP).  The DAIAG will ensure that the voices of people with disability, including physical, cognitive, sensory or psychosocial disability, are central to shaping the DAIP.

  • Valuing lived experience

    The City of Vincent recognises that lived experience is a valuable form of knowledge. You do not need formal qualifications or professional experience to nominate. Community insight, personal experience and connection to community are equally important.
  • Support person

    DAIAG members are welcome to attend meetings with a support person if this assists their participation.
  • Access and support needs

    The City of Vincent is committed to making participation accessible. Please let us know if you have any access requirements or support needs to participate in meetings or activities (for example interpreters, accessible formats, mobility access, support person).

  • Selection process

    Nominations will be assessed to ensure the DAIAG reflects a diverse range of community perspectives. Priority may be given to applicants with lived experience of disability.
