Adult Summer Reading: Tales From the Writing Life

Adults of all ages are invited to participate in our 2026 Summer Reading program: Tales from the Writing Life! All summer long we will offer a variety of programs that are writing and book themed including author talks, crafts, memoir writing, activities and more. To check out our fun programs click here to visit our website or grab a Cardigan at the Library! In addition to our amazing programs, adults can also read books for a chance to win prizes!
There are lots of ways to be entered into our Weekly and Grand Prize Drawings. For every book or audiobook read, participants will get an entry into the Weekly and Grand Prize Drawing. Also, for every 3 items checked out, participants will get another entry. We will have a few new surprises this year, too, like genre teams (take the quiz below by hitting the RED "PLAY ON itch.io" button to find out your team). We will also have bonus ways to earn prizes like Bingo Sheets which will be available at the Adult Desk.
