Katy Trail Pedaling & Berry Picking | 1 p.m. Saturday May 30
BWorks class alumni (caregivers welcome too!) will bike from the Page Bridge Parking Lot along the Katy Trail (2884 S River Rd) to Thies Farm and Greenhouses (3200 Greens Bottom Rd) and back again. The whole adventure will be about 7 mostly flat miles round trip. At the farm, we intend to do some berry picking!

Earn-A-Bike and Learn-To-Ride alumni (caregivers welcome too!) are invited to join St. Louis BWorks staff and volunteers for an afternoon of Katy Trail riding and berry picking at a trail-adjacent farm. Registration below is required to join the seven-mile ride. We'll meet with our bikes, helmets and water bottles (plus a way to carry your individual supplies -- e.g. a backpack) at the Page Bridge Parking Lot along the Katy Trail (2884 S River Rd) for final safety checks and reminders at 12:45 p.m. Saturday, May 30, departing promptly at 1 p.m. This relatively short guided group ride will take participants along the Katy Trail for about three and a half miles to Thies Farm and Greenhouses (3200 Greens Bottom Rd), where we'll enjoy some refreshments and berry picking for about an hour before pedaling back to our starting point, with a goal of ending the adventure by 4:30 p.m. Big thanks to Great Rivers Greenway for partnering with BWorks to help us keep these adventures free to our bike-education graduates and family members! We’re excited to have their support for a wide range of alumni events we have planned for BWorks youth in 2026.

Note: While we bill these as BWorks alumni adventures (geared specifically for graduates of our free youth bike classes), we strive to make them as inclusive as possible. Siblings and friends of BWorks grads may also be registered for most of our BWorks adventures *if* a parent/caregiver is riding too and takes primary responsibility for said sibling or friend. Only graduates of BWorks programs may ride without a parent/caregiver.
