Silver Knolls has been awarded a $70,000 wildfire risk reduction grant to support defensible space improvements within our community.

As part of this project, up to 13 properties will be selected to receive mitigation work in partnership with the Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District (TMFPD).

This work may include removal of hazardous vegetation, reduction of ladder fuels, and improvements to defensible space around structures.
