Terms and Conditions for Online Tutors
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the enrollment, conduct, and responsibilities of tutors engaged in online coaching with the Skill Bridge Institute of Excellence (“the Institute”). By enrolling as an online tutor, the individual (“Tutor”) agrees to comply with all terms outlined herein.
2. Eligibility
Tutors must possess the required academic qualifications, certifications, or professional experience relevant to the subject they intend to teach online.
Tutors must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Enrollment and Approval
Tutors must complete the official online application form and submit all required documentation.
The Institute reserves the right to accept or reject any application at its sole discretion.
Approval as a tutor does not constitute an employment relationship; tutors are engaged on freelance basis.
4. Code of Conduct
Tutors must maintain professionalism, integrity, and respect toward students, staff, and fellow tutors during all online interactions.
Discrimination, harassment, or inappropriate behavior of any kind is strictly prohibited.
Confidentiality of student information, online sessions, and institutional materials must be maintained.
5. Payment and Engagement
Tutor will act as freelancer. Tutor will create course independently and tutor will fix price of these courses for sale. The Institute will approve the course for publication on website.
The profit of sale of the courses will be shared in proportion of 75 % to Individual Tutor and 25 % to Institute.
Tutors are responsible for any taxes or statutory deductions applicable to their earnings.
Tutors can withdraw his or her course at his or her own choice. Institute will not use any materials created by tutor after its withdrawal.
Tutor must retain one copy of all teaching material such as all lesson plans, videos and other content with himself or herself. Institute will not be having any obligation to give teaching material back to tutor. Institute will destroy all material of tutor once it had been withdrawn from Institute website.
Either party may terminate the engagement with written notice so that students who have enrolled for course should not suffer.
6. Learning Materials
All online teaching materials, recorded sessions, and digital content developed by tutor will be intellectualpropertyoftutor.
Tutors may not reproduce, distribute the teaching materials of the course developed by him or her for Skill Bridge Institute of Excellence.
Tutors must create the original content of the course and mention the reference in their course content. Tutors are responsible to check the plagiarism content of courses before publishing.
7. Amendments
The Institute reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Updated terms will be communicated to tutors, and continued engagement constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Institute operates.
9. Acceptance
By signing the Online Tutor Enrollment Agreement or commencing online tutoring activities, the Tutor acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
