When: May 9th, from 12 to 1:30 pm PT, 1 to 2:30 pm MT, 2 to 3:30 pm CT, and 3 to 4:30 pm ET
Join me in a peer-led space on Zoom to grieve with others in the COVID community. There will be a somatic exercise to begin, time to name our grief, questions to consider, and time to share if you want. Everything is optional. All grief is welcome.
Registration is required and closes on Saturday, 5/9, at noon ET.

Suggested donations:
Sliding scale $0-10: For People of the Global Majority, working class or poor, and chronically ill and/or disabled.
Suggested donation: $15
$20 and above: If you have stable income and housing, financial savings, and can comfortably meet your basic needs, please consider giving $20 or more. Any amount over the suggested donation also supports the spots for those who can not contribute financially.
If you are unable to make a donation, that is okay, please note it on the form.
Where will the funds go?
All funds go to Sunduq Al Sudan. Sunduq Al Sudan is an umbrella initiative that supports mutual aid groups carrying out critical humanitarian work in response to the crisis in Sudan.
Modeled after alsunduq (“box”), the mutual aid and community savings groups popular across Sudan, Sunduq Al Sudan collects and distributes funding to community-led initiatives on the ground. Supporting and amplifying the lifesaving work done by civilian networks across the country.
The total amount raised and proof of donation will be shared during our time together.

About the Facilitator:
Jenn is a white, working class, fat, queer, Mad, griefy being who was further disabled by Long COVID in 2023. Her disabled mom died alone from COVID in December 2020.
Jenn has provided trauma-informed peer support in various settings, including 1:1 sessions and facilitated group spaces for survivors of sexual violence and COVID bereaved individuals. They have dedicated time to advocacy, community organizing, COVID memorialization work, and creating spaces for collective and disenfranchised grief. You can frequently find Jenn wandering the forest.
