Membership Advisory Group

We are inviting members to express their interest in joining a new Membership Advisory Group.
The Advisory Group will provide valuable input and advice on VMIAC’s work.

Your insights will help ensure our work remains member-focused and impactful.

We encourage everyone to apply regardless of experience or length of membership period with VMIAC. What matters is your commitment to the community, the consumer and lived experience movement and willingness to participate in the process.

If you're not selected for this opportunity, there will be other opportunities to contribute your ideas, input and feedback.

More information:
- Participants will be paid at the Consumer Register rate for their time.
- We will select 8 to 10 members to join our group.
- Applications will be opened between the 23 April and 08 May.
- All applicants will be contacted directly via email.
- First meeting will be held on the 10 June - 6:30pm
As a member of the Advisory Group, your role will include:
- Attending a monthly meeting (approximately two hours)
- Completing up to two hours of preparation each month (e.g. reading materials or reflecting on discussion topics)
- Sharing your views on the effectiveness of our membership events and communications
- Contributing ideas on how to better engage, support, and activate VMIAC members
